The Story of HadMatterDesign

HadMatterDesign is design of a different kind. It was cooked up by a bunch of creative types with some great ideas for innovative, useful products they thought should be available but couldn't find anywhere.

Our Name

Our company name is what we're all about. HadMatterDesign intends to elevate the typical business-to-business products industry to the next level. Are high-design products that serve some useful function beyond their good looks too much to ask for? We stand for products that serve a purpose, products with an ulterior motive. In short, products that matter.

But if you see some clever wordplay there too, we won't deny the connection. If you force us to gaze into that looking glass, we'll admit we're grinning just like that cat. Every time we put on our thinking hats, we try to drop ourselves down a new proverbial rabbit hole to submerge ourselves in a different way of looking at the world. Changing our perspective and trying new things on for size helps us to create our best work: curious products for curious people.
